MCV has conducted an interview with Sony head of PR, David Wilson who reckons Gran Turismo 5 will help boost PS3 console sales and be on the top of many gamer’s wish lists for this Christmas.
There’s no doubt Gran Turismo 5 will be a top seller this Christmas. The game has already managed to sell 1.8 million copies in just two days .
David Wilson is sure that the delays have not hindered the sales of the game either according to his comments.
“We are confident that Gran Turismo 5 will do great business between launch and Christmas,” said Wilson.
“With five years of development behind it, Gran Turismo 5 will be on top of many gamers’ wish lists.”
He also mentioned that 2010 has been a strong year for Sony with releases such as Heavy Rain, God of War III and the PlayStation Move with Gran Turismo 5 capping off a brilliant year of Sony exclusives.
