If you like the Disgaea franchise you almost have to love the adorable Prinnies. A while ago they got their own game in Prinny: Can I Really Be the Hero?, an action side-scrolling game. NIS has just announced a sequel called Prinny 2: Dawn of Operation Panties, Dood! Etna has had her panties stolen and it’s up to the Prinnies to find them by the next day, else they feel Etna’s infamous wrath. It will play similarly to the previous game with 2 modes of difficulty: the Standard mode, which will take 3 hits before a Prinny dies and Hell mode, where a single hit will instantly kill a Prinny. Don’t be discouraged though because players will have 1000 lives to throw at this difficult game.
Other features are vehicles to traverse the battlefield; the ability to lift and throw; the “Hip Pound” that stuns enemies which allows you to follow-up with more attacks as well as other special skills.
This game is set to be released in January 2011 for the PSP via UMD and PSN. Please check out some screens below. [19 new screens added]
