Following the release of the new firmware on the Nintendo DSi this morning, a new firmware on the Nintendo Wii is also now available for download.
For those people who uses the Homebrew Channel and have their Nintendo Wii “soft” modded, downloading the new 4.3 firmware will block all access to the software. When the Wii is updated to 4.3, there is no way to go back and soft mod the Nintendo Wii again unless there is another exploit that the hacker will find.
Don’t update if you don’t want the Homebrew Channel to be gone off the Channel list.

September 9, 2010 at 11:44 AMIf this article were correct it would know that 4.3 was release a while ago and it has already been hacked to allow Homebrew Channel again. If this is reffering to a new update please get the version number correct. It would be 4.3.X or 4.3X. Give it about a week till this new one is hacked.
