David Jaffe is one to be very talkative online. A lot of the time his ideas, comments, news comes through his Twitter account. Well today he tweeted some very exciting news regarding the upcoming PS3 exlcusive Twisted Metal game. Axel is making his way into the game. For those not too familiar with the series he debuted in Twisted Metal 2 on the PS1 and was immediately a fan favorite. He’ll be joining the cast which includes Sweet Tooth, Dollface, Mr. Grimm, and The Preacher so far. Jaffe added some specifics about what to expect from Axel this time around.
For those asking about Axel in TMPS3. So yes he’s in and he has 2 attacks: he rolls up into a ball and for a limited time u can crush the hell out of people. How many crushes can u get b4 timer runs out?
Secondary special is a charge up shockwave that does little damage but knocks enemies hella far back. Great for clearing groups off rooftops or ledges and for clearing some space for urteammate in NUKE while he’s trying to launch a missile. If we can get it working across the net (it’s a fast attack) players should be able to jump the shockwave 2 defend against it.
