Borderlands will soon be receiving both a new patch as well as downloadable content. Along with new DLC named Claptrap’s New Robot Revolution which is to be release on September 28th, the new patch will be totally free and raise the level cap to 69.
Before the only way to get the level cap rise was to purchase the DLC that had previously come out but Gearbox seems to have decided to let all gamers play to level 69 without any DLC whatsoever. The current cap is 61 from Borderlands last piece of DLC so look forward to making up those last eight levels when Claptrap’s New Robot Revolution is released later this month.
