Saving Gallia once again is not an easy task as the Rebel Army is attacking at full force. Now that Valkyria Chronicles II is out in North America, there are things that gamers should be aware of.
Valkyria Chronicles II is full of secrets and hardships and we are here to bring the tips on how to beat certain missions, and of course acquiring those secret characters.

SECRETS
Unlocking Isara Gunther from Valkyria Chronicles
Load up a save file of Valkyria Chronicles from the PlayStation 3. Go to the Extras menu and choose Link Data. In addition to unlocking Isara, a Sticker for the player’s tank will also be unlocked. (Save file doesn’t matter if it’s from JP, EU, or US)
Unlocking Emilia from Phantasy Star Portable 2
Similar to unlocking Isara, the player must have a Phantasy Star Portable 2 save file. It doesn’t matter if it’s in Japanese. Go to the Extras Menu and choose Link Data. Two additional missions will also be unlocked.
Acquiring Sigrid
A secret character named Sigrid can be obtained by finishing the Character Mission of Reiner. View all of the events about Reiner and a mission called, Fighting Friends, will be unlocked.
TIPS
March Story Mission
The objective of this mission is to escort an APC to the destination. An enemy called V2 and Dirk will try to stop the player from advancing and will deal a massive amount of damage. There is a solution to that!
Option 1: Have Avan capture the enemy bases so that the APC can move from one place to another. Start out by capturing the base at the right. At the next turn, simply have the APC rush through the enemies. The APC will get hit but not by that much. Once you’re in area with V2 surrounding you, use the TANK and whenever the player sees the V2 charging, press the Square button and the V2 will stop its attack. Repeat it until the player reaches the destination point.
Option 2: Taking down the V2 is possible but what about Dirk? Just wait for him to Widthraw. The player cannot take the V2 down without destroying the source that gives them shield. Find a tank with two blue poles and blow it up. The destruction of the tank will remove the shield and you can now attempt to take the V2 down.
April Story Mission
The objective of this mission is to capture the three enemy base camps in the Darcsen village. A guy named Baldren of the Rebel Army will try to stop the player of capturing it by any means. Taking out this guy is hard and it will require some luck and patience. He has a lot of AP therefore he can attack the player from anywhere he want. Not taking him out will just make him kill of the player’s character.
Start off by having a Sniper, a Tank equipped with Flamethrower and Utility body, and a Lancer. Have one soldier act as a decoy to lure him. Get the Sniper out without him knowing and attack from behind. A Headshot should do 1/4 of his health depending on how strong the Sniper is. When the ammo runs out, use the Flamethrower of the Tank. Having the Utility Body on the Tank will allow player to only use 1CP at every move.
