Microsoft has slightly redesigned it’s Xbox 360 controller. It’s relatively similar to the old design apart from the revamped D-Pad.
The D-Pad has been changed as many people felt the old D-Pad was a little clunky and hard to press. Now you can twist the pad so it’s more easier for you to press. You can twist it back to the original design if you prefer it that way. Other changes are that the face buttons have changed color. They have a metallic grey look in lieu of the colorful designs seen before.
The new redesigned controller is only going to be available with the new Play & Charge kit which will be available in the US for $64.99. It goes on sale from November 9, 2010. A release date for other regions has not been confirmed as of yet but it’s likely the controller could be available in Europe by February next year.
