With rumours of a possible remake of Goldeneye floating around the internet for the past few months, it seems rumours of a James Bond title were correct. While not a Goldeneye remake Activision are developing James Bond 007: Blood Stone.
Coming out on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC and Nintendo DS James Bond 007: Blood Stone is aiming to be an explosive third-person action title, slated for release this holiday season. Joss Stone an award winning artist is going to be the games Bond girl in the original Bond experience written by the screenwriter Bruce Feirstein. As well as staring in the game, Joss Stone will also record an exclusive original musical track for the game, called “I’ll Take it All”.
The game itself takes Bond on an adventure to unravel an international conspiracy, where players will use true 00 agent gadgets and experience driving on both land and sea. As well as the single player storyline in James Bond 007: Blood Stone, there will also be a large variety of multiplayer modes, including objective based matches. This online multiplayer will host 16 player games that pit spies and mercenaries up against each other throughout authentic Bond locations.
