The third party developer Headstrong Games which did only create Wii titles is changing its focus to the PlayStation 3 which is more third party developer friendly as well as soon having a motion device and the upcoming Nintendo 3DS.
Headstrong Games “will remain Wii-friendly” despite the change in focus. I believe what will happen is more PS Move ports of Wii games and vice versa will become available as developers try to re-use concepts but in full HD.
Will this shift in third party developers away from the Wii have much of a negative effect on the console? It’ll certainly aid the PlayStation 3 in Headstrong Games’ case bringing new original titles to its range of games.
