EA announced that the Fight Night series will be back in 2011 and it will be called Fight Night Champion.
The game will be on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 and promises to have between 60 – 65 fighters in all. It’s being developed by EA Canada and is reportedly going to have a revamped control scheme called “Full Spectrum Punch Control”. This will give players more precise control over how they land punches and how they’ll be thrown. EA also said that the game will accessible for new players yet keeping a lot of features to satisfy the hardcore players.
Only one confirmed fighter has been announced thus far, and that’s Manny Pacquiao. It is expected much of the marketing of the game will be aimed around him.
