With the first Heavy Rain DLC being released last year, many were looking forward to the second chapter of the Heavy Rain Chronicles. Although Quantic Dream has put the DLC where you play as the Origami Killer on “indefinite hold”.
Apparently the reason for it being placed on hold was that Sony asked the developers to focus on enabling the game for Move support rather than the DLC. While it may seem an odd idea, giving the title Move support may actually boost sales especially if it’s a release Move title.
The DLC hasn’t been cancelled as Quantic Dream said work on the DLC may resume after the Move version is complete. As the second chapter is “on hold” it seems it was started in the first place, so I believe it will be released before Horizon, Quantic Dream’s next title.
