In the recently concluded media briefing of Konami on the show floor, new information arises on Metal Gear Rising.
Konami revealed that Metal Gear Rising will take place before the events of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. Before Raiden lived peacefully with his family in MGS4, take a look back and see how Raiden began to be that cyborg ninja with no mercy at all.
Metal Gear Rising is a lightning bolt action game that is scheduled for release sometime this year or early next year. Don’t expect to have the same stealth action game similar to the past MGS games as you will get it in this game. Rising is more of a hack and slash action game.
