A new Xenoblade trailer titled “The Omen” has surfaced on Everyone’s Nintendo Channel today. It depicts the three protagonists, Shulk, Fiorung, and Dunban witnessing an invasion of a seemingly peaceful city. Mechanical creatures are shown being dropped off from an invading aerial fleet to ravage the city and its people. The rest of the trailer shows off gameplay footage of the hero Shulk fighting enemies with the Monado sword (said to be able to pierce the armor of the enemy Kishin) along with glimpses of other new characters. Announced back in E3 2009, Xenoblade is an exclusive Wii rpg scheduled to release on June 10, 2010 in Japan. Neither the title nor a release date have been confirmed for the North American version at this point. Not much other details are currently known either, however, it’s worth mentioning that the music is simply glorious.
