After days of deliberation and informing us through Twitter, the decision to port Final Fantasy IX to the PlayStation Network has finally been approved. In a recent tweet of a Square-Enix just a few minutes ago, a video was released announcing that Final Fantasy IX is indeed coming on the PlayStation 3 and PSP. Now we should expect it soon in Japan and North America.
It seems that the new PlayStation Firmware Update is for the release of Final Fantasy IX. At least that should make some people happy after removing the Install OS function on their PS3.

April 2, 2010 at 6:00 AMYeah but Anon modding your PSP and putting FFIX on it is illegal. Unless you rip it yourself, of course. But anyway, I’VE BEEN WAITIN’ FOR THIS. My all time favourite game will soon be available once more. I’m happy it is too, both of my Disc 1s are broke. ><

On a brighter note……..AWESOME! I love FFIX its a really good game, and on top of that it goes back and gets its flow from some interesting roots. I love job classes, even if they aren’t changeable its still super sweet to know this went through.
