Square Enix have announced a final release date for its upcoming action-adventure title NieR. Both NieR Gestalt for the Xbox 360 and NeiR RepliCant on PS3 will be releasing April 22 2010.
Although the differences between the two games aren’t very clear at this stage we do know you’ll be different characters in each game. In NieR RepliCant you’ll be controlling a young NieR out to save his younger sister whereas in NieR Gestalt you’ll be in control of an older NieR out to save his daughter.
Both versions will be selling for ¥7,800.
For those of you that will pre-order NieR will receive the NieR Premium Mini Album. This includes a selection of tunes featured in the game as well as a bonus track.
No word yet about the release date or prices for other territories other than Japan. We’ll let you know once more details surface.
