The recently released Firmware 3.0 has been a little less than impressive. While it certainly looks nice and makes some much needed changes to the look of the XMB, many fans have been complaining about various complications that arose after they updated. While first being brushed off as isolated incidents, it’s now pretty clear that this is quite the major bug Sony has on it’s hands. Not to fear, Sony has released a statement and are apparently working on a fix.
“SCEA is aware of reports that PS3 owners are experiencing isolated issues with their PS3 system since installing the most recent system software update (v3.00). Rest assured that we are looking into the matter and will provide an update here as soon as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience, as it’s our mission to deliver the best consumer experience on all PlayStation platforms.”
Let’s just hope they can fix it quick so that little things like CONTROLLERS and GAMES will work once again.
