A report from a forum member of Bungie said that NewEgg already started shipping out Halo 3: ODST since Tuesday, September 15. According to his post, a lot of kids are trying to scare him that they will report him for playing Halo 3: ODST early even though NewEgg was the one that shipped the game early. (I guess a lot of kids are jealous)
As of now, we still have not heard a response from NewEgg regarding this issue. I know Microsoft is strict about release dates but, could the forum member say any truth to what he’s telling to people? Or is he one of the pirates trying to cover up by saying he bought it off from NewEgg?
Since getting the game on tuesday, i have gotten about 70 friend requests and over 20 messages. I joined a persons party who was relentless about me joining and he said, “Hey, how did you get the game early? Are you a hacker? My friend on my friends list said you were on his friends list and that you were a hacker and that i should report you and tell everyone i know to report you. He sent that message to all his friends too.”
Yeah, there are a bunch of little kids that have joined together to get me banned or something. I am not a hacker, i got it off newegg. This is getting rediculous, there has literally been a constant stream of friend requests on my xbox since i got the game.
Is there anything i can do to not face some kind of consequences from XBL, cuz if microsoft all of the sudden is getting like 100 reports of me hacking, i don’t think they will be on my side.
We will have their response later today. Stay tuned
