THE CITY OF OLYMPIA
It’s time to chase after Helios, the Sun God. Fans who played the demo will find this place very familiar.
You will meet Gaia again. This time she’s asking for your help. Unfortunately, Kratos remembered what she did back when they were both in Mount Olympus. Now attack Gaia’s hand that blocks the way. Go through the quick time event sequence and you will end up using the Blades of Olympus to cut her hand.
You can now stand upon a Giant Gate. Before you can enter, you must defeat a series of enemies. They come in waves. They vary from Sentries and Hounds. Remember to kick the Hounds if you want to continue getting the ‘Obedience School’ trophy.
With the gate opened, you’ll see a Harpy where you can use as a way to the other side. Start off by grabbing her and move the analog stick towards the platform to the other side. Do it one more time and proceed through to the next area.
Don’t forget to use the Save spot and replenish your health and magic by opening the chest. You can now see a Titan before you and Helios fighting in the middle of the Temple of Olympus.
Glide through the center platform and be ready for some action. You will have to face hordes of sentries. On the second wave, a Centaur will be the next fighting you along with more Sentries. Don’t forget to use the Green/Blue chests whenever you need them.
Go up and you will see a catapult that you can use to pin Helios down. As soon as you approach it, a Chimera will attack you. Now, you have to kill it.
There are three forms of this Chimera. Watch out for the poison that the Chimera spits in its first form. Give enough damage and do a QTE. The second form will allow Chimera to stand up and spit fire three consecutive times. The third and last form of this Chimera will get it back to its four feet. The Chimera is now more faster.
With the Chimera dead, go back to the Catapult. Wait for Helios to approach the Titan and release it. Watch how the Titan smashes Helios’ Chariot. Now your mission is to go find Helios.
Go back to the center platform. With the Harpies arrival in the scene, use them as a way once more to get to the other side of the temple. There will be sentries waiting for you here. Take note of the green chest to your right just in case you run out of health.
Get the flammable rubble that you see on the left side. Open the door to your right and go inside the hallway.
On your left is a treasure chest while to your right is an ambush. Tons of sentries will come out of the ground. Beat them and find your way up to the top of the temple by using the ladder.
Climb onto the ledges and you will face the Sun God, Helios.
Helios will be first covered with Armored Olympian Sentry. Since the shield is indestructible as of now, a Cyclops will spawn. Use the Cyclops as your weapon to smash their shield once you get to control it. With their shields destroyed, time to kill those sentries.
Approach Helios and help Kratos have his revenge on the Sun God.
