The official Splinter Cell Blacklist facebook page has uploaded four new screenshots from the game.
I’m not sure if this has been confirmed or not, but one of the details outlined from the screenshots is that the game will have a co-op mode. This is on top of the single player and multiplayer modes that Ubisoft already announced.
Splinter Cell Blacklist is due out August 20th in North America and August 22nd in Europe. It will be available for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. Yes, the PC version is releasing simultaneously with the console versions if you weren’t already aware of this.

January 26, 2013 at 3:41 PMBlacklist is looking great. August feels like it’s forever away, but at least a new Splinter Cell game is on the way. Seeing all the screenshots and videos of Blacklist has reignited my excitement for the whole Splinter Cell franchise, and made me want to replay through all the old games. Unfortunately I don’t own any of those old titles anymore, so I’ll be putting the Splinter Cell: Trilogy, Double Agent, and Conviction in my Blockbuster @Home queue; hopefully they’ll tide me over until Blacklist comes out. Since I work for DISH I try my best to test out every service we come out with, and I knew right away I was going to love Blockbuster @Home. And with it being a flat-rate subscription service, and the number of games I go through, it’s saved me a ton of money. And with its enormous selection of Blu-rays, DVDs, and video games to rent by mail, I’m never without a good game to play now!
