From the time you put Heavy Rain onto your PlayStation 3, a v1.01 patch will be prompted for you to download. There is no official word as to what the patch does but I am guessing it will fix the lag and graphical slowdown of the game. Honestly, I never experienced anything laggy or glitchy at all when I first played it a few weeks ago.
