Legendary Entertainment is finally going ahead with the movie adaptation of Mass Effect. A new writer has been brought on to make this happen.
The original script was being penned by Mark Protosevich who wrote “Thor” and “I Am Legend”. The script is now being written by Morgan Davis Foehl.
Foehl has not written a movie script yet, although producers say he is a Mass Effect fan and can handle “material similar to the overall plot of the “Mass Effect” games.”
It’s unknown when we should expect to see the Mass Effct movie to be released, but it’s a good sign that its writer is a fan of the games. We’ve seen too many video game movie adaptations that have nothing to do with the original source material…
