Like myself, all Kingdom Hearts fans are waiting for the inevitable announcement Kingdom Hearts III, but it seems that we may have to wait a bit longer for it, as Nomura is hinting more spin-offs.
Kingdom Hearts is Sora’s story, but the series in development now is also another character’s story. So to speak, that character is the focus of this series.

I have a feeling that this may not be exactly a spin-off, but more of a companion to the main series. Chain of Memories and 358/2 Days are felt to be fill ins for Kingdom Hearts II and Birth by Sleep respectively, but could this new ‘series’ be a fill in for Kingdom Hearts III?
At any rate, it looks like Sora will not be the main character of the new series, but he could still be involved with the series’ events to some extent.
Who will this series focus around? Will it be Ansem (Doubtful), Riku (Likely), or someone completely different (Most likely)? When will it be released? On what console will it be released? I’m sure that Kingdom Hearts fans’ heads are, like my own, already dizzy from speculation. Keep checking back for more news!
