Kojima Productions has finally given a reason why Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes was not given the HD treatment.
Many fans were asking why Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes was not included in the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection. After all, this game was out for the Gamecube and was based on the first game in the series.
Kojima Productions explained its omission:
“That was a remake made by Silicone Knights. We supervised it but we didn’t create it directly and we wanted to make sure that everything in the HD Collection was canon. Everything that goes into there is something created directly by Kojima Productions and Kojima himself. So that is the reason why Twin Snakes was not included in HD Collection.”
The first Metal Gear Solid game is arguably the best one in the series. Hopefully Kojima Productions considers to remake the game entirely in the near future…
