During an interview, Treyarch’s Daniel Suarez divulged some fresh details regarding Black Ops 2. While the game’s campaign was discussed, the biggest piece of info came from the section of the interview revolving around the new Zombie mode.
Black Ops 2’s Zombie mode is being completely overhauled to support new forms of gameplay. Most notable is the inclusion of competitive elements to the popular mode. Suarez described one of the modes as a regular Zombies match that contained two teams of four that were competing against each other by seeing which team could survive the longer.
Zombie Wager matches were also talked about as a possible addition. If it were to actually happen, a regular zombie match would be altered by throwing in different objectives. For example, obtaining the highest zombie kill count or surviving a never-ending wave the longest could be the task given to players.
Zombies is sure to be the most anticipated feature of this year’s Call of Duty and, if we’re lucky, we will have even more solid info on the expansive mode in the coming months.

When I first read the article I expected you was going to say that you can play as infected as well (aka Left4Dead).
