This past February we began to hear rumors regarding a video game tie-in for Expendables 2. The rumor slowly died off, but now it has been more than revived; it has been confirmed.
The Australian Classification Board gave the game a rating of MA15+. Furthermore, under the “Consumer Advice” section of the board’s post, it states the following:
Strong violence; Gaming experience may change online
This leads us to believe that the Expendables 2 video game will support multiplayer. Although games based off of movies generally suck, playing as one of the many popular actors in this varied cast could prove to be entertaining. No further details on the game were provided, but there’s a good chance we will hear something from Ubisoft around or before the movie’s release date, August 17th.
