In Diablo 3, the ability to choose a difficulty at the beginning of the game isn’t possible. There’s no easy way to jump right away to the Inferno mode, but instead, you’re pretty much going to play the game first on the normal difficulty, then only then can work your way up. The way the difficulty is changed in Diablo 3 is by finishing the current difficulty you’re at and a new difficulty will be unlocked. Keep doing the same thing to reach Inferno mode.
As everyone knows, the maximum level that you can reach in the game is Level 60. Now, in order to reach that, you will have to use the same character that you started out with and replay the game several times until you reach the maximum level. A monster in Hell difficulty will have twice the amount of HP than the ones in Normal difficulty, so pretty much, no matter how strong you are when you restart, it will still be challenging.
Those who are still confused, here are some of the frequently asked questions:
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I reach the maximum level after I beat the game?
Every time you beat the game, a newer difficulty setting gets unlocked. Now since you’re able to use the same character that you finish the game with, you can replay the game on a much higher difficulty and work on increasing your levels.
How many difficulties are there?
You first start at Normal, Nightmare, Hell, and the most difficult one, Inferno.
Does the rarity of loots change depending on the difficulty that I’m playing on?
Very rare items and some exclusive ones are available in Inferno mode.
What changes at each difficulty level?
On Normal mode, the monster’s HP increases at 75%, depending on how many players are on your game. (co-op partner not follower)
On Nightmare mode, the monster’s HP increases at 85%, depending on how many players are on your game. (co-op partner not follower)
On Hell mode, the monster’s HP increases at 95%, depending on how many players are on your game. (co-op partner not follower)
On Inferno mode, the monster’s HP increases at 110%, depending on howw many players are on your game. (co-op partner not follower)
As for the damages;
On Nightmare mode, the monster’s Damage increases at 5%, depending on how many players are on your game. (co-op partner not follower)
On Hell mode, the monster’s damage increases at 10%, depending on how many players are on your game. (co-op partner not follower)
On Inferno mode, the monster’s damage increases at 15%, depending on how many players are on your game. (co-op partner not follower)
Is it necessary to play on co-op?
If you wish to proceed above level 30, you’ll most likely going to need a co-op partner. Otherwise, prepare to die a lot, and with every death, the durability of your weapon decreases. Be careful.
