Markus Persson aka Notch has today confirmed that gamers will not have to pay a subscription to play his next game 0x10c’s single player.
There was some confusion, despite Notch previously saying there would only be subscription for the multiplayer, so Notch took it upon himself to clear the matter up. When asked on Twitter he swiftly responded “single player won’t have any subscription fees.” Nice and clear if only every developer was this straight forward.
