It’s been a good run, but sadly all good things must come to an end. After several years of service, Atlus is finally pulling the plug on Demon Souls online service. This will occur on May 31st at 11:59 pm pst, but before that they’re going out in a bang! If you play during the month of May, there will be two world tendency events. If you’ve forgotten Demon Souls, that simply means it will be easier or harder depending on what end you’re on.
While this is the end of the online, this doesn’t really hurt the game too much. With the exception of the Monk headgear, I don’t believe anything else is locked out. Additionally, if you’re worried about getting your platinum, don’t worry because it’s still fully obtainable on your own. Sure this is sad news, but Atlus has certainly gone above and beyond.
