Square Enix has just revealed the North American release date for Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance. While the European release dates are still pending, the North American date is July 31st, 2012. Even though the game released in Japan last week, other region fans will have to wait just a bit longer.
Many are anxiously waiting for the next installment of the Kingdom Hearts saga to continue, but are not willing to import, so this is their answer: rejoice! Kingdom Hearts 3D lets the player assume the role of both Sora and Riku while they work towards achieving their Mark of Mastery. Hopefully the various other region releases will include the release of the Dream Drop custom 3DS, or even the 10th anniversary box.
