Divinity II: Ego Draconis is a great game, hell it even surpasses Dragon Age: Origins, but one of the things that really ruins it for me is the annoying save glitch that f*cks up the game on the XBOX 360 version. Larian Studios has said that there will be a patch coming for the PC but as for the XBOX 360 version, nothing has been stated. We can’t do a review of a game if we can’t save the progress but I have a found a way to prevent the save glitch.
It seems that when you overwrite a game, the game glitches and prevents the player from continuing on. So to fix this problem, make new save file, don’t overwrite the old one. Yes, it works and I’ve confirmed it myself. Check back with us either late this week or early next week for the full review.

January 14, 2010 at 7:02 AMThese kind of things are getting ridiculous. though I’m quite used to it and typically make multiple saves and it saved me more then once in farcry 2 which took the developer over 6 months to fix. An annoying trend I’ve noticed from farcry 2 to dragon age is the inability to delete saves in game, instead requiring you to delete from dashboard. Easily in a couple of hours in dragon age you can have 500 plus MB of saves and clicking each save file to see save dates in order to delete is really frustrating and time consuming. Can you tell me if divinity 2 lets you delete saves in game or not? I’d really like to know, thanks.
