It looks like Microsoft means business with its upcoming release of Natal. Robbie Bach, President of Microsoft’s Division of Entertainment and Devices, reports that 70 to 80% percent of game publishers worldwide are already developing games designed for Natal.
The list of developers working on Natal projects was already known to include the likes of Activision, Bethesda, Capcom, Konami, Square Enix and Electronic Arts. Now, there are apparently many, many more working on similar projects, further emboldening the notion that Microsoft hopes to compete meaningfully with Nintendo’s Wii, which has largely dominated the game sales market since its release.
