Capcom released some new screens, artwork and a video detailing all of the new features that can be found in the Playstation Vita version of Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3. The new artwork samples the exclusive Gold Herald color options available for all characters which can be obtained through costume sharing via the PS Vita’s NEAR function. The new screens and video show players what they can expect to see in the portable version of the game.
Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 throws in 12 new characters from the Marvel and Capcom universes, a refined fighting system, brand new modes and all new maps. The PS Vita edition of Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 improves upon the console experience, complete with all modes from the console version including the new Heroes & Heralds mode, plus new features designed specifically for the PlayStation Vita.
The Vita version of the game features online and local multiplayer, touch screen features, NEAR support and everything you would normally find in the PS3 version. The game also includes a Spectator and Replay function that allows you to watch matches or share them over wi-fi. There is also a feature that allows players to use the PS Vita as the “Ultimate Controller” to play the PS3 version of the game.
Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 releases for the Playstation Vita alongside the First Edition Bundle on February 15. It will be priced at a nice and fair $39.99. You can check out the new screens for the game below.
