Those longing to reunite with Max Payne and all the glorious slow motion shooting will have to wait a little longer now.
The highly anticipated title has been moved from a March release date and is now set to release on Xbox 360 and PS3 May 15th in North America (May 18th internationally). The game will be available to PC players May 29th (June 1st internationally).
Chairman and CEO of Take-Two had this two say about this delay:
“We do not take changes to our release schedule lightly, and this short delay will ensure that Max Payne 3 delivers the highest quality, groundbreaking entertainment experience that is expected from our Company.”
“Max Payne 3 promises to be one of our most exciting releases to date, and we are confident that consumers will once again be amazed by Rockstar’s ability to take interactive entertainment to another level.”
Given that May falls within the company’s Q1 2013 schedule, Take-Two is anticipating a net loss for fiscal 2012.
