The Kinect PROBABLY isn’t taken as seriously as it should be. I mean sure, it’s a bit glitchy, has a poor catalog of games, most of which being dance and exercise titles and is prohibitively expensive, but it should probably get more credit.
At least Microsoft thinks so, thanks to its new Kinect-Core site, determined to shove attention away from aforementioned casual dance/exercise games and on to the core experience.
Maybe not the HARDcore experience, as it appears they have listed Fruit Ninja and Steel Battalion on the same page, but even the most hardcore gamer is guilty of a game or two of Angry Birds.
Glad to see Microsoft still cares about the juicy meat of the gaming experience, and not just the fancy, shiny tech.
