So the promise of Battlefield 1943 to Playstation 3 owners of Battlefield 3 has finally been fulfilled (but this is EA we’re talking here, of course it has a catch).
Well in America at least, Europe’s had it since November. EA finally caved in and fulfilled a promise they made, begrudgingly and dragging their heels with suspicious efficiency, but hey, they came through.
1. Activate your Battlefield 3 Online Pass for the PlayStation 3, you know, if you bought it new.
2. Go to 1943redemption.battlefield.com and log in with your Origin ID and password, or sign away your soul and sign up for Origin
3. Tell them where you live.
4. Get your PSN voucher.
5. Input your voucher into the PlayStation Network store.
6. Receive your promised game entirely too late.
And yeah, you gotta get Origin to get your game. Shucks.
