For those of you who have been waiting patiently for some new pieces of info on the Back to Karkand DLC pack for Batlefield 3, DICE has released something special for you. A trailer was just released showing off the Strike at Karkand map in the pack and it looks amazing. It definitely looks as if there will be a great deal more destructible buildings in this map compared to the maps the game shipped with. You will also get a glimpse at most of the new weapons that will be included with the DLC pack.
The Back to Karkand DLC pack will release sometime next month on the PC, Xbox360 and PS3. The pack will feature 4 maps from Battlefield 2 redone with the Frostbite 2 engine as well as weapons and vehicles that were featured in Battlefield 2. The pack will be free for those who bought the limited edition of Battlefield 3 and $15 for those who didn’t. Playstation 3 owners will get the pack 1 week before everyone else.
