Modern Warfare 3 Now Unlocked On Steam

HOLD UP, don’t get too excited.

The game in a few regions has been unlocked and there are an estimated 3,701 people that are enjoying that game right now, ha ha ha, you have to wait.

Anyway,

Feel free to check on Steam to see if Modern Warfare 3 has finally unlocked in your region. With a measly 3,700 people playing right now, I wouldn’t expect to hop so freely onto that bandwagon…

But it’s still worth a shot!

For everyone else, they’ll have to wait until morning.

Chances are, though, by the time you read this, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has FINALLY been released!

No i read it 19 min after you posted it thanks for explaining why i have to wait but its BULL i bought the game i should be able to play the gadamn game to bad i cant sue its not really worth it but it would show how pissed i am i give u a thumbs up because u explained i want to give u a thumbs down but there is no point in shooting the messenger oh and Steam, FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

The game is still in pre load mode since midnight now it is 730 am.Still not activated. Game purchased from steam.

So….. I am slightly confused because I bought MW3, spent all night installing it, and it sure as hell is 11-8-11… why can’t I play? What is this ?

Called in sick to work this morning claiming warfare fever. Now, I’m home with nothing to do wasting a sick day.

It didnt release at midnight because in this era of digital games, stores like best buy and walmart are losing profits to those people who just buy the game online, so those same stores paid steam to delay the release of the game so that more people would just go to the store and buy it. However it is now 11 am and the game supposedly was released over an hour ago and my computer is still telling me that the game is “currently unavailabe”. I must say that this is the last time i pre-order a game from steam.
