For those who are hungry for some Suikoden details on the PSP, Konami shed little information via Famitsu today.
If you’re hoping for a real Suikoden game that ties up the story of the main series, you will be disappointed. It seems that Suikoden Tsumugareshi Hyakunen no Toki will be similar to Tierkreis, in which it will take place in one of the 100 worlds they mentioned.
The plot of the game will focus on a group of characters who will rise up to defeat the beast that appears every 100 years (Hmmm, sounds like the Marked One in Tierkreis!). The main character, the silent hero, will be sent 100 years back to the past by a mysterious girl named Zephon.
As a die-hard Suikoden fan, I’m disappointed because It’s not the game that will tie up the loose ends of the main series. However, knowing that it’s going on the PSP, I hope it will have a much better presentation, gameplay, and storyline than Tierkreis.
