It’s no surprise at this point that Mass Effect 3 is going to have online passes. This is actually how we found out it was going to have online multiplayer. However, at the end of this spectrum that we’ve come to realize is here to stay, the dreaded online pass system, comes the lurking horror that it will soon be affecting more than the online Team Deathmatch.
Mass Effect 3’s online multiplayer will have goodies, goodies that affect you in-game and effect how the story plays out. How well you do affects what happens in the story. Where it only seeks to expand and enhance the experience, it should be noted that while everything is available in Mass Effect 3 without playing online, it’s significantly harder to do, thereby indirectly punishing those who don’t play online, in all probability though, this is not out of cruel intent, but rather a mass ignoring of the inherit repercussions.
This is more than likely not due to the fact that Bioware wishes to chip away at the aftermarket, but the fact that EA wants to.
Mass Effect 3 is still being looked to with glittery visions of a grand epic finish to a trilogy, it having a pristine and well written lineage, and fans can look forward to its launch on March 6th, 2012.

October 13, 2011 at 5:08 PMThat whole “easier with multiplayer” is a total joke. Trust me, you wont need any help beating this game. It’s going to be super easy just like ME1 and ME2. It will probably just enhance some arbitrary timer if you complete the multiplayer well.
Think about ME2 and how all the marketing kept askin “Will you survive?” and calling it a suicide mission and implying how your team will probably not make it. When in reality if you simply play the game, you will always survive and so will almost all of your team.
