It was reported earlier this week that the battery life for the PlayStation Vita is around 3-5 hours. Sony has revealed it is developing an external battery of the PlayStation Vita to extend the battery life.
IGN interviewed SCEA Worldwide Studios President Shuhei Yoshida, to confirm that Sony is indeed developing an external battery for the PS Vita.
The external battery will be an optional attachment for the PS Vita. If you’re happy with the 3-5 hour battery life, you don’t have to buy the external battery. If you plan on using on PS Vita on long road trips, than the external battery attachment will be perfect for you.
