Notch has today revealed that an equivalent to the paint mod will not be included into Minecraft.
Notch revealed that he is a big fan of the Paint Mod saying that it “blows my mind” however he went onto dismiss rumours it would be added into Minecraft. He commented on the social networking site Twitter, “We have no plans to integrate that [the paint mod] into core Minecraft, no. Just play the mod! It’s awesome”.
Minecraft beta 1.8 is scheduled for release this week, hopefully unlike previous updates it won’t be pushed back.
