Yep, Square Enix confirmed today that Dragon Quest X is coming to the Nintendo Wii. It’s not the traditional RPG we are hoping for but a MMO instead, where thousands of players will embark on a grand journey.
According to what was revealed today, Dragon Quest X will take place in Astortia. The game will have five races to choose from and will pretty much have a huge story to tackle. There will be a lot of quests that players can do, and for those who are hoping to have an unlimited quest, it will all happen in Dragon Quest X.
Expect full details of the game later today as promised.
[Update: Along with the Wii version, Dragon Quest X will also be released on the Wii U where it will have improved graphics, and ability to do a cross over between the Wii and the Wii-U. In addition, the team is also considering a 3DS compatibility where players can transfer their characters in and out.]
