For those of you who were kind of bummed about the plethora of different alternate skins being offered as pre-order bonuses, worry no more. Rocksteady told Eurogamer in an interview recently that the skins being divided up among retailers would eventually be released as DLC to the masses.
“The offer that we’re making out with retailers for gamers is, this is an early access opportunity for you,” Rocksteady’s marketing manager Dax Ginn told Eurogamer in London yesterday. “Absolutely down the track [the skins] will be available more broadly.”
There were a total of six Batman skins have been announced so far ranging from the animated series skin to the Batman Beyond skin (which is my personal favorite). There is no word yet on how much these skins will cost or when they will release as DLC. Hopefully they release them as a pack rather than put them up for individual download.
