In an interview with Gamespot, Microsoft Game Studios boss, Phil Spencer said that Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary will have Kinect support.
In the interview, Spencer stated:
“Core focus for us in our press briefing this year with Kinect actually came from two sides. As a first-party, we believe that Kinect will be important to all genres of games, be it racing games with Forza, combat games like Ryse. Even games like Halo Anniversary has Kinect integration.”
Unfortunately, he did not go into any more detail regarding how a Halo game would use the Kinect but the possibilities can be endless. I don’t believe a FPS has used the Kinect thus far so it would be interesting to see what his team can come up with.
Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary Edition is out November 25th exclusively for the Xbox 360.
