Fans of the Hitman series who are looking forward to the newest installment titled Hitman: Absolution will be happy to hear that the first trailer of the game will premier on June 8 in the Square Enix Booth on the show floor.
Square Enix posted an official statement that read “Agent 47 is ready to strike. The world premiere of the Hitman: Absolution trailer will debut on Wednesday, June 8 at 10:47am PDT at E3 in the Square Enix booth 1647 in the South Hall. Protect your neck!”
IO Interactive is building the game on Glacier 2 which is the engine built by the Danish studio. Square Enix also published a blurb stating: “Betrayed by those he trusted and hunted by the police, Agent 47 finds himself at the centre of a dark conspiracy and must embark on a personal journey through a corrupt and twisted world, in his search for the truth.” The game is set for release sometime next year. Hopefully E3 will help us narrow down the date.
