Valve has just released a beta for Portal 2’s Authoring Tools allowing players to create their own Portal 2 levels.
The software which is what Valve used to create the game is available free of charge to anyone with a PC copy of Portal 2. Valve say the software will allow players to create both singleplayer and coop levels as well as create “new character skins, 3D models, sound effects, and music.”
To download the Authoring Tools open up Steam and look in the Tools tab. So what are you waiting for? Turn the challenge around and create the test chambers.
