Dead Space Extraction Invading PSN

It’s not news that a PS3 port of the WII Dead Space title “Extraction” is only a week away, however a stand alone version is.

According to Rey Gutierrez the “Senior Social Media Specialist” there will be a PSN stand alone version. No need to worry though, if you pick up the collectors/special edition you will still get Extraction for free, but this will give arcade light gun fans a chance to experience it. If you never looked into Extraction and might think about it now, as stated earlier it is a light gun game, meaning it plays like a classic arcade shooter, or PS3 title Time Crisis which was recently released.

There were some rather interesting side details as well!

Additional Information

Works with the Move, or a Dualshock 3.

Is considered a full game, and will have a platinum trophy.

As stated will be free with special editions of Dead Space 2.

Though this is good news, sadly it is not currently known the price or the date that it will appear on the PSN, but if its like Call of Duty Classic it will be around a month. Finally Dead Space 2 is set to release January 25th on the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.

Whew, good news. Had planned on buying the game for the 360, so at least i can still get extraction.
