Famitsu.com has revealed that a remake for Devil Survivor will be heading its way onto the 3DS later this year.
The full name of the game is called Devil Survivor Over Clock and it will be set in modern day Tokyo. The game is similar to Dead Rising in the sense that demons randomly appear in the city and it’s up to you to not only survive but seek out the truth behind this mystery.
Whereas in Dead Rising the game spans over a three day period, Devil Survivor will take place over an eight day period.
There are now over 150 demons in the 3DS version complete with new skills and designs.
Thanks to the technology behind the 3DS console there will be a number of superficial upgrades to the game too. This includes the use of 3D, a bigger map and higher resolution graphics. The game will also feature fully voiced characters with over 20,000 lines of dialogue recorded.
Famitsu has said that the game is 90% complete so we may see the game sooner rather than later.
