Since 2004, the Nintendo DS has reached over 47 million consoles sold making it America’s best-selling video game system of all time. In conjunction, the Wii sales in the U.S. have reached 34 million consoles sold, having sold over 7 million of those in just 2010 alone.
Nintendo is looking forward to an even better year in 2011 and with the release of the 3DS sometime in the new year, they’ll most likely continue to dominate the console market in America.
