Ubisoft’s Kinect enabled game Fighter’s Uncaged has been sued by MMA company UFC.
The UFC feels that the catchphrase labelled on the game’s box is too closely linked to the company’s name. The phrase is “Become the Ultimate Fighting Weapon”. The company thinks consumers may be confused that they are purchasing an officially licensed UFC product.
UFC wants to cease sales of the game until the catchphrase is removed from the box.
